Eye Exams in Indiana, PA

Regular vision exams are just as important as yearly check-ups with your physician. Many illnesses, such a: diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and even multiple scleroses can be detected early with a vision examination. Glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and other ocular diseases are easier to treat when found early through a vision examination.

As parents are aware, children seem to sprout overnight. With these spurts of growth, a child's vision can change rapidly and school screenings are not interchangeable with a vision examination. As early as 6 months, a child's vision can be assessed, and problems can be addressed. Dr. Heckert has a "child friendly" office and we make every attempt to make their appointment fun and fearless.
